Trisha Godsey

Trisha has over twenty years of experience representing a wide variety of healthcare providers in professional liability cases.

Trisha's clients have included a large hospital system, physicians in numerous medical specialties, nurses, therapists, technologists, and long-term care providers.  She also has several years of experience representing a large clinical laboratory in cases throughout the Southeast.  Throughout her career, she has defended cases involving claims of medical malpractice, wrongful death, birth injury, ordinary negligence, fraud, negligent credentialing, and negligent hiring, training and retention.  She has also had the opportunity to work with healthcare providers in the development of policies and procedures and in responding to subpoenas on a variety of issues.  Trisha also has experience handling general liability cases involving premises liability and non-emergency transportation.  She has obtained favorable results for her clients through trial, mediation and motion practice, at both the trial and appellate court level.

Trisha graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Administration in 1998.  She then received her law degree from Emory University School of Law in 2001, where she received recognition for Outstanding Oral Advocacy in Trial Techniques.  In her free time, Trisha enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and her dog, Ollie.
